Swift Collision Glass Limited Lifetime Warranty
Your auto glass has been installed in accordance with recognized industry practices using quality glass, adhesives, and materials that meet or exceed applicable vehicle manufacturer standards. The glass has been secured using urethane adhesive, which requires a minimum cure time of sixty (60) minutes before the vehicle is driven. When operating the vehicle, all passengers should be properly restrained in accordance with manufacturer safety guidelines, and all vehicle safety systems should be in proper working order.
Swift Collision Glass stands behind the quality of its workmanship and materials with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Under this warranty, Swift Collision Glass will correct or replace any glass installation that is affected by a defect in materials, an installation-related issue, or damage caused during installation due to technician error. Where applicable, this warranty also includes calibration services for ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), subject to the terms below.
Please note that this warranty does not apply when existing vehicle conditions may interfere with a proper installation. This may include rust, corrosion, prior damage, weakened mounting surfaces, or coating conditions that affect the structural integrity of the installation area. Swift Collision Glass will make every reasonable effort to identify and communicate such conditions before installation begins, although some issues may not be visible until the existing glass has been removed.
Limited Warranty Coverage
All new auto glass installed by Swift Collision Glass is warranted to be free from defects in materials and installation workmanship for as long as the original customer owns the vehicle. This warranty is subject to the limitations and exclusions outlined below.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
To request warranty service, please contact Swift Collision Glass during normal business hours using the contact information listed on your original invoice or work order.
Limitations and Exclusions
This warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the glass by Swift Collision Glass or an approved service provider. Warranty coverage applies only to the original customer listed on the original work order and may not be transferred or assigned to another person or vehicle owner.
This warranty does not cover issues caused by conditions unrelated to Swift Collision Glass materials or workmanship. Excluded causes may include, but are not limited to:
- pre-existing rust, corrosion, or structural deterioration
- prior damage affecting the installation surface
- damage caused by collisions, vandalism, theft, weather, road debris, or other outside forces
- stress cracks or failures caused by unrelated vehicle conditions
ADAS Calibration Terms
If ADAS calibration is included as part of a warranty claim, the related vehicle systems must first be verified to be operating properly before warranty service can proceed. If any ADAS component or supporting system is found to be malfunctioning, the customer will be responsible for all diagnostic, programming, repair, or calibration costs needed to restore proper operation before warranty-related work can be performed.
ADAS calibration coverage under this warranty applies only when replacement of the windshield is required due to a warrantable condition. Additional or repeated calibrations after the original service are not included unless otherwise required as part of an approved warranty repair.
Additional Warranty Terms
If Swift Collision Glass is unable to perform warranty service at its own location, it may arrange for service through a qualified local provider. Any outside repair or replacement estimate must be approved in advance by Swift Collision Glass before warranty work is performed.
Documentation may be required for all warranty claims, including the original invoice or work order and any supporting photos or inspection records.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Swift Collision Glass shall not be liable for special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of vehicle use, lost time, lost income, towing charges, or other related expenses resulting from glass damage, replacement, repair, or delayed service.
Except for the express warranty stated above, Swift Collision Glass makes no other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, unless such warranties are required by applicable law. Some states may not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so portions of this warranty may not apply in every case. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state.
